Dana Saperstein, PhD

Dana Saperstein, PhD

I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a certification in Guided Imagery and Hypnosis from CGI of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I trained as a mental health professional at clinics around Los Angeles County, working with children, couples and individuals. I was a supervisor on a crisis response team based in Beverly Hills, where I administered psychological first aid to individuals, families, schools, businesses, and government agencies that were affected by traumatic events or death. I am also a trained grief therapist and wrote my doctoral dissertation on Effective Treatment for People who have Lost a Loved One to a Suicide-Death. I have an eclectic orientation as a psychologist as I focus on modalities of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and when needed, I will integrate hypnosis or EMDR into my treatment. By using a custom approach toward healing, it allows me to meet my clients where they are, and to tailor a treatment plan that best fit their needs.
